Edo Assembly's total victory a referendum, says APC
Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday described its landslide victory in the House of Assembly poll as a referendum on Governor Godwin Obaseki’s performance.
State Publicity Secretary of APC, Chris Azebamwan, stated this in a release in Benin City after the party’s Executive Committee meeting.
“In line with this mandate, the party would continue to sustain its commitment to give the Obaseki administration the needed support to keep it focused and on track.
“Members of the party have also found a reliable authority to trust God for clinching all 24 seats in the state House of Assembly elections, which has now come to be known as 24/24,” the statement reads.
